Goodfield, IL — On May 7, 2021, Martin Equipment of Illinois, Inc. celebrated the groundbreaking of its newest facility in Columbia, Missouri. Construction of the industrial equipment dealer’s 21,000-square-foot building is expected to be completed in February of 2022, with the full-service facility slated to open to the public in the spring of 2022.
Constructed by Vissering Construction Company of Streater, Illinois, the Columbia location will be more than triple the size of Martin Equipment’s current 6,500-square-foot space in Ashland, Missouri. Including eight service bays complete with large-capacity cranes to easily accommodate production-class equipment, the new facility enables the dealer’s ability to support big iron at an even higher level and will increase in-stock parts capacity by at least 300 percent. Cylinder repair and hose making will also be performed on-site.
